A gathering at the longest day
Cocoa, painted stones, and prayers for peace in Avalon.
Sunday · 21 June · from 11amThe invitation
On the year's longest day we gather in stillness and warmth — a morning given to peace, intention, and good company. We begin gently around 11am with a warm cup of cocoa, paint stones with our hopes, and carry them just beside us to Avalon, where we lay our stones and crystals with prayers for peace.
The day
We open the doors with a warm cup of cocoa to welcome you in. No rush — settle in, say hello, and find your place.
Together we paint stones — each one carrying an intention, a hope, a prayer. Take your time and let it be yours.
We carry our painted stones and crystals to Avalon — right beside where we paint — holding our intentions as we go.
We lay our stones and crystals together with prayers for peace — for ourselves, for our country, for society, and ultimately for the whole world.
We share a celebration lunch together — bring your own food, as usual.
To finish, those who'd like to can join a gentle walk in the forest — a fitting close to the longest day.
Our prayers
Each stone we lay holds a prayer that begins close to home and reaches out — until it touches the whole world.
